Celebrating 40 Years in NYC
Learn Capoeira with Mestra Edna Lima
Capoeira trains you for life!
Let’s get together to play capoeira, learn about Brazilian culture and history, and grow as individuals with Mestra Edna Lima, the world’s first female Capoeira master!
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art form created by enslaved people from the continent of Africa in the 16th Century. Disguised as a dance, it combines elements of martial arts, music, and acrobatic movements.
This beautiful art form helps improve: self-esteem, fitness, coordination, agility, flexibility, balance, rhythm and happiness.
